Coaching Agreement
For 1:1 conversations with Maria Williams
Thank you for booking a 1:1 with Maria. Please read this before your session. By booking and attending, you confirm you have read this agreement and agree to its terms.
1. Coaching is not therapy, medical care, or professional advice.
Maria Williams is a coach, author, and speaker. She is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, social worker, counselor, physician, attorney, or financial professional. Sessions are conversations and reflective coaching — they are not psychotherapy, mental health treatment, medical advice, legal advice, or financial advice, and they are not a substitute for care from a licensed professional.
2. You are responsible for your own decisions and well-being.
Anything Maria shares is offered for reflection and perspective. You retain full responsibility for any decisions, actions, or outcomes that follow from your session. You agree to seek out a qualified licensed professional for any matter requiring professional care.
3. Confidentiality and its limits.
Maria treats your session as confidential and will not share what you discuss publicly. Exception: if Maria reasonably believes there is a risk of harm to you or another person, or if disclosure is required by law (court order, subpoena, etc.), she may share information with the appropriate parties.
4. Recording and intellectual property.
Sessions are not recorded by default. Neither party may record audio, video, or transcripts without the other party’s prior written consent. Any frameworks, materials, or written content Maria shares remain her intellectual property; you may use them for personal benefit but may not reproduce or sell them.
5. Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds.
Reschedules are accepted up to 24 hours before your session at no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours of the session, or no-shows, are non-refundable. Refunds outside this window are at Maria’s sole discretion.
6. Release of liability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Maria Williams, individually, and ThePrettyTruth LLC (a Pennsylvania single-member limited liability company, PA Entity ID 0015444190, formed May 6, 2026; EIN 42-2372934), together with its sole member WFM Holdings LLC and each entity’s members, managers, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates, from any and all claims, damages, or liability arising from your session or any action you take based on it.
7. Governing law.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
